we made it!
After 6 hours of traveling, we finally made it to Carlsbad, CA, home of Legoland! We set off this morning at 8:45, made it to Valencia in one shot and stopped to burn off some energy in Toys R Us and In-n-Out. Another straight drive through LA and we made it to our hotel. The kids were great travelers, we had plenty in the car to keep them occupied. Tomorrow's the big day at Legoland, for now we're headed to the pool to burn off more energy. More updates to come!

Glad to may you made it safely and without incident. Enjoy the pool! How can Jason stand being so close to LegoLand and not yet inside????

Trevor says, "Hope you have a great time at Legoland. Be careful on the car roller coaster. It goes really fast when you go around a corner." Melinda says have a fun time. We missed you at church this morning, as we forgot this was the BIG LEGOLAND ADVENTURE WEEKEND!! We're looking forward to pics and reading/hearing about your trip!
Wow, you made it just two stops! It would have taken me 5 or 6. I remember the days. I hope the day was fun for all.
